HaSalon, From Israeli Culinary Icon Chef Eyal Shani Opens At The Venetian Resort Las Vegas July 15; Reservations Now Available
The Founding Father of Israeli Cuisine Brings His Beloved Concept to Life in a nearly 12,000 Square Foot Restaurant in the Entertainment Capital of the World
Las Vegas (June 15, 2023) – Reservations are now open for the highly-anticipated celebratory dining experience, HaSalon, by Chef Eyal Shani at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas. The high-end, Mediterranean restaurant opens to the public July 15, and marks the second culinary creation from Chef Shani, who unveiled Miznon to guests at The Venetian Resort in December 2022.
The HaSalon menu at The Venetian Resort showcases Chef Shani's distinctive culinary ingenuity to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients, the evolving menu of Israeli cuisine changes nightly with dishes including fan favorites, the Horrible Hammer – herbs and flowers smashed atop thin slices of beef carpaccio, and the Mamaliga, a sweet corn polenta.
“We welcomed Chef Shani’s Mediterranean street food restaurant, Miznon, to The Palazzo earlier this year and can’t wait to have HaSalon join our best-in-class roster of restaurants,” said Patrick Nichols, president and chief executive officer of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. “HaSalon is known globally for its dynamic atmosphere and inventive menu and will build upon our goal of creating the most sought-after culinary experiences on the Las Vegas Strip.”
“Las Vegas is all about the will to live on instincts, to put your life in the hands of luck. Nobody understands that more than HaSalon – the energy, and the food, all are mesmerizing and elevate your feelings,” said Chef Eyal Shani. “At HaSalon, you are getting the best feeling that life can give, the magic from a night you are praying will never end, experiencing a loss of control and the freedom that feeling has. Our mission, the whole reason for our existence and the whole reason that millions of people around the globe are dreaming of us, is to give happiness and make people that visit us much happier than they were before.”
HaSalon offers two seatings per evening; the first offers the same exciting menu and interactive experiences but in a more traditional dining environment. As the evening progresses, the dining room transforms for the second seating, embodying the energy of Tel Aviv to create an upbeat and vibrant atmosphere where the magic of the food and atmosphere create a desire to stand up and dance with strangers alongside you.
In Hebrew, HaSalon means “the living room,” and is the foundation not only for the experience, but for the restaurant’s unique design. Colors flourish throughout the venue, taking cues from the vibrant vegetables and ingredients on the menu, and mingle with varying textures of tile, concrete, and wood. Tables and chairs of modern and vintage styles mix harmoniously to evoke a sense of warmth and comfort for guests. The dining space is lit with an eclectic array of light fixtures whose glow mixes with the lights from the Strip, giving guests the magic of Las Vegas and reminding them where they are.
Originally from Tel Aviv, Chef Shani has established himself as the world’s leading proponent of contemporary Israeli cuisine. He is the owner of 40 restaurants worldwide, a Master Chef judge, and a global ambassador for Israeli cuisine. Since opening HaSalon in Tel Aviv in 2008, Ibiza, New York, Paris, London, and Miami have followed, with Toronto soon to come.
Visit HaSalon beginning July 15 for dinner and late-night offerings, in The Palazzo tower, just off the casino floor. Reservations are now open. Follow along at @venetianvegas and @hasalon_vegas.
